KEIFER!!!! Best Actor!!

Congratulations to KEIFER  SUTHERLAND on winning the Screen actor’s award for best

actor for FOX tv show 24…….my space buddie..BUNNY… put it oh so well on her space…… http://spaces.msn.com/bunnybethsbargains/  he is tortured and he is longing for love and losing out on it all the time. He is dedicated to his work and he plays this part like no other person could. I tried thinking of someone who could play it this well. He plays it so intensely..he becomes the man..JACK BAUER…that name will go down in history in my mnd like Napoleon Solo, Illya Kuriyakin, James West and Artemus Gordon ..these famous characters were also spies and good at their craft, making the characters come alive on the screen…were Robert Vaughn, David McCallum, http://www.tv.com/the-man-from-u.n.c.l.e./show/3323/cast.html   Robert Conrad and my personal favorite.. Ross Martin…ahh I remember them so fondly from my past   http://www.tv.com/the-wild-wild-west/show/145/summary.html 

Years from now I will remember, if my old brain lets me, Keifer Sutherland and his portrayal of the intense Jack Bauer.This show gets me yelling at the screen and cheering for Jack and all his triumphs!! 

If you haven’t seen this show… it’s not too late..no re-runs so far this season..they just keep rolling along..and it gets even more exciting as it goes. Give it a try… (shamless plug).. on Monday Nights at 9 pm est. on FOX.  We like it…. we really, really like it!! 

                                    

MONDAY MESS!!!

The troubles with MSN roll on..the noise on the grapevine is

kinda scary...too slow..too stressful..too hard to deal with…I guess I am one of the lucky ones who gets to enter something and it go through to the publlic.. so I should be grateful and be happy!

So much going on over the weekend.. I was struck by the news over Bob Woodruff and his photographer getting injured over in Iraq. It felt lilke David Bloom all over again and then losing Peter Jennings too. It just is hard to fathom all the other families who get this horrible news every single day from over there…Prayers are with all their families as they will deal with a long recovery from this awful war. Let us pray it ends soon!!!

 

Looks like Detroit may get the snow they wished to get over the next few days for SUPERBOWL sunday. A friend of mine who works in Detroit area says it is a wild time right now..people are already here for the game and it’s only MONDAY!! Sorry..but I don’t see what they do for six whole days before the event……the weather is cold and rainy and then will be snowy and icy..not like the superbowls in the south where the weather is wonderfully warm and inviting. Oh well …they decided to have it here so who am I to say anything about it…I am routing for

the underdog whichever team that is..the Steelers haven’t won in years and the SEAHAWKS never!! So I guess it’s going to be a GREAT game! The commercials will be the best part anyway!!

 

WELL hang in there to those who are still having troubles on this space mess….a better day has to come sooner or later…….

MSN still has some work to do..I am afraid that it will be awhile

before we can all get back to the spaces that we knew and loved.

I have had a lot of trouble commenting at people’s spaces and so I thought I would just tell ya that I have dial-up and so it takes a long time to load some of the wonderful spaces that I visit. When the space loads so you can read things I forget what I wanted to comment about ..YES thats MY fault not MSN’s …I am old and cranky sometimes….and forget lots of stuff… we all have bad days and our good ones… 

 I just wanted to say that I don’t like commenting when it says NO NAME.. and I did try to… but it wouldn’t let me sometimes and I saw some wonderful pictures but I tried the new comment thing and it said my e-mail address was wrong and I hadn’t even put it in there…and I gave up after three tries to say hello at some of the spaces I regularly go to..so I am still out here..I will keep trying along with the rest of you… until things get back to order around here…      to you all!!!

 P.S. Blogger and Blospot are getting better looking everyday since this mess started and several people are considering moving their blogs. Patience is something that wears thin these days and going days without being able to even comment on a space or make an entry, view your profile wears pretty thin on a person.

WHERE’S YOUR PURSE???

Recently my niece came over and I asked her where is your

purse?? Are you driving without a license? Nahh..she wasn’t but she just had it in her pants pocket instead of a wallet or a purse!

I have seen it in her coat, I have seen it in her car visor..HOW

does she keep track of the thing?…I have no idea!!!

 

I may be getting old but it is such a hassle to re-do a license… I have told her this. She is too young to know the thrill of going down there and telling them you "lost it" or "washed it in the laundry".. They charge now for copying a license or what they call re-issuing one.  I was told by a cop once NOT to keep my license in with my checkbook and money either. If the guy gets your credit cards or money at least you still have your license and or ID… and your home address….they can’t go rob you at home or worse…

That was AFTER my whole life was stolen in a flea market…This kid was part of a ring of thieves and he reached into my shopping bag and got the wallet and everything in it….there is NO feeling on earth like….

WHERE IS MY WALLET or  WHERE IS MY PURSE!!!

 

It hits you like a ton of bricks..I called the police..several others had them stolen that very day..these kids only wanted the money and by 6pm that day the postoffice called me to tell me that my wallet was found in a postal box near the flea market with several others. The entire wallet was untouched except that the money was gone..they had not found the hidden compartment I had extra money in..they did not take the credit cards which I was frantic about!!! I WAS LUCKY!!! 

 

With age comes wisdom..or it should…we learn by our mistakes

I have had some bad ones….but I still carry my license separate from the money and cards like the cop told me…but not in my pocket!!! My girlfriend " A" keeps her money and all her contents in a bellypouch type purse attached to her person at all times.

I like that idea for some occasions..but I could not do it all the time. I prefer the over the shoulder thing myself.. it still keeps my arms free to do whatever I need doing..

I am  G-U-I-L-T-Y though of leaving it in the cart at the store….slap me now…I know..I know…I attach it several times over and under with the

infant seat belt and then pile all the groceries on top of it…..I figure if they want it they will have to dig for it….I must try to wean myself from the cart thing but I have a few years left in this old life and maybe I will still continue to learn a few lessons along the way…              

Guys are lucky they don’t ever worry about their walllets I bet…only when the pick pockets are in town!!! If they had to keep all the receipts and cell phones, address books, extra car keys, kids medicines and toys, pacifiers, checkbook and whole darn house in there then they would carry something I bet!!

 

WHAT DO YOU CARRY???    DO YOU KEEP YOUR CASH, CARDS AND LICENSE SEPARATE?

WOW MSN…NEW CHANGES

I guess the people at MSN have heard our complaints recently they have been upgrading the whole MSN spaces network. I ,for one, am glad they are keeping up with the wishes of the public.

It will take a few days to get used to all the new things !!
