Abu Musab al-Zarqawi killed in air raid

BAGHDAD, Iraq – Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the most-wanted terrorist in Iraq’ who waged a bloody campaign of beheadings and suicide bombings, was killed when U.S. warplanes dropped 500-pound bombs on his isolated safehouse, officials said Thursday. His death was a long-sought victory in the war in Iraq.
It makes one wonder if things will be diferent now. I heard that 7 of his top people were with him so they did manage to take out
more than just one important link to that evil guy..I, for one, could not be happier..the sooner the whole thing is wrapped up the sooner the troops get home. They have been gone too long as it is now.
It was O and his men that started 9/11…not Sadam …so anything that takes care of that guy and his evil ways is good in my book.
With the followers of O feeling that they must carry out the Jihad anyway..well America must be ever vigilant.That whole thing with Canadian terriorist being rounded up made me somewhat nervous. I know we here in Michigan are right there at the border watching….but what about some of the borders in America that are not so well protected? It makes you think about things…..

ON to better things to think about…Our towns farmers market has finally opened so now we KNOW that spring is really going into summer. The berries look fantastic this year and so do the crop of new vegetables that are beginning to come in. I know in the south this is already happened..but here it is welcomed news. I see that they are charging more this year for crops than last year due to the cost of gas and all. Tractors don’t run on water..at least not yet(ha)
so everything is going up.

REMEMBER..awhile back my aunt in Ca. got flooded ou?t..Well after a long wait her carpets are being put back in the house and she will be able to return sometime this week. She had to replace most of her household items such as stove and some furniture…the dry wall in her living room up to 4 foot up the wall. What a disaster!..With the help of volunteers from her church and others she will finally get back to her "new house" because it will never be like it was before.Quite the strain for someone in her 80"s!! GOd BLess those workers!!
