IMUS IS FIRED….

IMUS FIRED MSNBC & CBS

I am sure glad that MSNBC and CBS decided to take IMUS off their schedule permanently. I think it was a good decision. With all the controversy surrounding him and the damage that he could do potentially in the future.. it was the right thing to do.

American Express Co., Sprint Nextel Corp,.Staples Inc.,Procter & Gamble Co., and General Motors Corp. have all pulled their advertising off that program. Msnbc says thatthe decision was not because of the advertising being pulledbut rather for the things he said in his broadcast.. >>WHERE have these people been??? He has been doing things and saying things for years…WHY was nothing done before this?? Makes youwonder huh? CBS got a lot of pressure not only from groups of people like the NAACP but the employees who work for CBS. They did not like the thought of CBS allowing that kind of thingto go on where they work. I agree both networks did the right thing. I hope he RETIRES now and just lives out the rest of hisdays SILENT to the public. Would be refreshing!

SAN FRANCISCO (AFP) – A study released on Thursday indicates that  more women than men go online in the United States, defying the perception of the Internet as a male-dominated realm.
Approximately 97.2 million women use the Internet in the United States, compared to 90.9 million men, according to research by eMarketer. Women are inclined to use the Internet to accomplish tasks instead of as a diversion, said eMarketer senior analyst Debra Aho Williamson, author of the “Women Online” report.
“Females, especially adult women, are more likely to use the Internet to get things done, rather than to have fun,” the eMarketer report states.

WELL It’s about time they found out that women are making a substantialmark in the this computer age!!  I think way more women blog than men..that isjust what I have found in my travels of the blogosphere…we probably send more e-mails and we are just more communicative than men are anyway. It just a natural fact. It was EVE who spoke to ADAM in the first place and coaxed him to eat the apple.. it was probably a cavewoman using her feminine ways to get a caveman to hunt dinner too. It goes back a long way!!

SURVIVOR SHAKEUP

WOW.. you needed a manual to watch the program.

The show was so one-sided with one team winning everytime

that the producers decided to shake them up a little.

Both sides were summoned to the SKULL Island with only

their basic things that they arrived with. NO extras.. that right

there was a mystery. When they arrived they found out they had

merged into one group. They were then told to go back to the luxurious

campsite where one team had been living life pretty easy. They found that

the entire camp had been swept clean of everything and they

were back to square one. Just like the first day they arrived.

 

If that’s not enough when they had the reward challenge Jeff made

them choose from a bag colors and they split into two teams AGAIN.

So confusing to the tribe members. All their plotting for who to

vote off was voided out because they sent them directly to tribal

council and they had to vote someone off without thinking about it much.

HOW WEIRD…. anyway…. they are now down to 9 people left..makes

one wonder if they are going to do some more crazy stuff next week too.
