GLORIES/ SPACEWALK UPDATE

Here is the latest pic of my glories, at this rate it will be all of AUGUST before

they get big.. I started wayyyy too late! They are no more than about

two inches tall at the least. I have to water every single day it is so dry. NOT

a good year to try to grow them from a seed for sure. I am using the publish

feature of Spaces to get the photo on here. It seems to have worked.

For those of you who went to the SIMPSON site..they are overwhelmed and it

will take time waiting for some, using dial up for sure!! 

PLEASE pick the save to my computer feature as

sending via e-mail will sometimes only get a link sent and no PICTURE. I went 

back and did mine over again.. and may place it later on. HOT here and everywhere

else too. STAY COOL out there!!!

DOH .. I BEEN SIMPSONIZED…

While visiting one of our spacewalk friends..namely the

TELEVISION AND STUFF guy.. he put up a link to the site that is quite

popular now. The number one box office movie in the country this

past weekend was the SIMPSON MOVIE. Why oh WHY has this

CARTOON been around for so long???? 18 YEARS I Believe!

Anyway.. I sought out this website and sure enough the "machine" is

there to make you into a real citizen of the SPRINGFIELD..cartoon

land.  Here is what I think I would look like…Of course I had to

host the image because the whole photo thing here is NOT WORKING

again!!!  ( Yes.. I re-did everything and turned off the pop-up blockers

got ZIP for the effort. Oh well maybe it will "feel " like coming back later.)

  

I sure had a lot of fun making up family members and friends!

WHOOPI ON THE VIEW

ANYONE who knows me, personally, KNOWS I am a big, big

Whoopi Goldberg fan.

 

I have seen just about all of her movies and

try to catch every appearance on TV she makes, that isnt on

cable that is. I was so thrilled to hear today that she will

be anouncing her new job on ABC’S THE VIEW next week.

I sure hope that happens! She had told reporters earlier

in the year that she did not want that "gig", she was happy with

her own radio show on Sirius Radio. Either money talks or

she is doing Barb Walters a favor and was convinced, who

knows. SHE was my first choice and was reccommended by

ROSIE.. Whoopi is not without controversy in her lifetime.

She can hold her own with the best of them. I am so happy

she decided to make this move. I sure hope she sticks around

for a long time.

Another person is tapped to be on the panel at THE VIEW..

and that is the sassy talking ..SHERRI SHEPHERD..

 

She is 40 and has been on the show many many times. She is a comedian

very much like Whoopie and Joy Behar. She has appeared on

numerous sitcoms and movies and is pretty outspoken in her opinions

as is Whoopi. If both of these women are hired for The View

it just might be worth checking it out in the daytime. I think

they both are fine choices. I sure hope this pair are signed for

at least a year. If they are ..well I WILL be watching WHOOPI!!

ATTEMPTING POST..

Attempting this a third time today.. I think I should just give it

up and then I try it another way. Eureka!! It worked.. well well

I have outdone myself and then I think.. but you haven’t hit the

publish button yet.. heh heh. MSN has always kept us guessing!

 

Hot and sultry you would think we were living in the deep

south here. NOt much rain but what we got just left us

dripping with humidity. YUCK!   Hope it is cooler where

you are… or at least comfortable.

 

Going to Sam’s Club to try to find the large bags of Hershey 

Kisses we saw there a month or so back. I sure hope they have

them and we dont have to buy so many smaller ones. The thought

of more money going out makes us shudder. Those little boxes

hold more than you think they do and now we are wondering

WHO’S BIG IDEA it was in the first place. NO ONE is taking

credit for it at all. HAH isn’t that the way it is?
