Remember when you were young and you could not wait
for Christmas or your birthday??? WELL I am old and I
am experiencing the same excitement over my friend
coming to see me after 7 longggggggg years!! She has
attempted visits before and something always came up. I am
praying now that she has the tickets that nothing does.
We have had adventures all over the country it seems..
in our lifetime.. and I cannot wait for the next one to start.
This time she will be going to bookstores and telling people
about her new book she just got published. BLINDSIDED.
It is sure hard out there to get people interested if you are
not a big celebrity name to push your book into the public eye.
I guess I will be taking some time off here too, when she comes,
and will really enjoy myself for the first time in a long time.
I CAN NOT WAIT.. but I have to!! Time will now stand
still and crawl because I want it to fly.. isn’t that the way it
goes??
It has cooled off here tremendously.. we have the windows open
and the air smells so good. Don’t let that weather thing fool
you over there.. we got not one drop of rain yesterday and
it says storms are on the horizon.. but the chances are 30%
or less. I am thinking we will get none. Everything is getting
brown like out west around here, but other parts of Michigan
got lots of rain. Figures.. I have to keep the water going to
see if the morning glories will even start up!
