Getting ready here. SHE is coming in less than 3 weeks!!
I heard more reports on the
news today and talk about getting nervous! Just our luck too. The last time
that we were going to have visitors from CA… was three days AFTER
SEPT> 11.. OH YEAH it’s true. I told them NOT to come then. Things were
so bad and not stable and I just didn’t want any chances being taken.
We all knew it was the right decision. but we sure didnt want to
make it. My mother had not seen her sisters in AGES.. and still hasn’t
seen them since. They talk on the phone and that’s about all. When you
get to be in their age range (80′s) well you don’t care to travel that much. The
airlines tell you they will help you ..but UNITED left my poor mother sitting
in a wheelchair at one gate and said they would come back for her to
help her and never did. She asked for help…heck she even
could walk some then. so she got up and went to the counter and asked
NOTHING…WAS DONE…She got help from a stranger to get her
to the gate she needed!! GOD BLESS THEM..
SHE vowed never to go again alone for one and
because she could not walk much.. not to go at all. So we probably won’t be
seeing any of those relatives again.
Sue was here in 2000 for a class reunion type thing. We all had a great
time and those days before 9/11 were so carefree. Heck you could even
take a bottle of water or pop or whatever on the plane. Not now!
So after 7 long years and many phone calls and e-mails and such
I keep my fingers crossed that she will actually GET to come.
Today is really humid and not the kind of day to hang clothing
but I am going to hang some rugs and such to air out while I do
some floor work. She really doesn’t care about the surroundings
all that much.. but what person doesn’t want to spruce up when they
KNOW they are getting visitors??? I ask you that.. what person??

I heard HARRY LIVES.. YAY!! J.K. Says several are going to die though
among them rumors fly.. Ron dies. Lupin dies. Percy dies,Voldemort dies. Snape dies.
Sheesh that is a whole lot of characters.. and POOR RON.. I sure hope that
doesn’t happen. They keep advertising an hour long visit with JK ROWLING
on DATELINE NBC.. I think it is the 28th or something… surely we will
get more details from her then on WHY she finished the book series like
she did.
