WHAT ABOUT SUMMER??

My mother asked me the other day…”IF
this winter has been so darn long and cold
will the summer be short and hot??” I just
looked at her and wondered.

same question. This is the answer I got.

WE ALL suffered last year with drought just about
everywhere in the U.S. It was a dry dry summer.
I cannot imagine it even worse than that. The cornfields were
all shriveled up and the gardens were pitiful if not watered
a lot. I guess we all will have to keep our fingers crossed for
rain,at least, if we can’t have it so cool.
Up state in the upper peninsula they have had over 200
inches of snow this year. Almost 14 inches in some
places just a couple of days ago. The weather guy
commented that this last snow leaves so much on the
ground that they may see spring in JULY!! HOW
ODD would that be????

Hm, I was so caught up in the hard winter that we had, I never thought about how the summer would be. Frankly, I’m not listening to the weather forecast that much because I O.D.ed on it during winter. Those poor deer!
