MICROWAVE HUNT…

Well it started out on-line checking ads and different stores

for what sales they had and what brands they had

available. I didn’t know much about EMERSON..

That is all that K*&^L’s had available and BOY..

was Sam’s CLub high priced and not what I was looking

for. I checked about 8 or 9 different stores.SAVED Gas

by not having to go to each store!!

We decided to check out S%$R’s and see what they had.

 UH OH.. we ran into a sale on SHOES and boy that

just set me off! HAH!  Who can resist a SHOE sale..

some of the prices were so good..like the sign out front said

“one pair just won’t do!” so I got two pair!! Checked out the paint

aisle and sure enough a sale there too.. so the paint for the porch

is bought and then on to the microwaves.. I could not see

paying the prices in there so decided to pass and move on

to the next place.

 

Luckily W***M$$T had a mother’s day sale going on. It ends the

10th and the sale was BIG!!  We got the 1100 wt GE micro

for way less than any place else. Check out their ad this week.

 With the sale price we saved

about 20$.. so everyone was Happy!! 

I do believe that my best friend SUE is right.. these appliances

get together in the dead of night and decide which one needs to

be replaced, when they hear that you have a few extra bucks!!

Thanks to the govt. rebate check we did not sweat getting a new

microwave..The day was a success!  I opened the box in the store, everything

seemed okay. Tomorrow we wil try it out and make sure it works

good. IF NOT.. back it goes.. pronto.. no waiting..

MILK in W*&^%T regular price.. $4.08!!!  sale today was $3.29

I guess pretty soon Milk and Gas will be neck and neck at 4.00

a gallon.. I still can’t even wrap my mind around it.

The cold front came through this afternoon and the wind came with it.

Temps dropped at least 20 degrees here and the rain came in by dark

right behind it. Guess we have seen the end of the nice warm temps

until sometime next week..
