THOSE WERE THE DAYS…

Well I was tired of blue and Monday rolled around and it was

time to go back to Green!   I typed in lush waterfall at

google and this background came up. All I could say was …

AHhhhhhhh.. it sure is.. according to the link provided it is a

waterfall in CROATIA of all places..this world continues to amaze me.

a television show I watched and my dad loved. The main

character and my dad had the same first name. Dad’s views were

NOT the same as his though.. no way!!! He did like to laugh at

him though.

 

As things seem to be all going in reverse nowdays, I was reminded of how

things used to be. Today  seeing the local paper and reading

about how many homes are for sale in our area..(well two counties really)

HUNDREDS  listed for under $20,000 dollars. Some nice homes in nice

neighborhoods. Some were 3 and 4 bedroom homes too. I came across the

ad for “HELL HOUSE” next door. $29,900. for 3 apts. So much work to be

done there.. but look what you get. If you tore down the house, you still

would have a nice size corner lot. A huge space. Ahhh to have money now

to invest. It really is a buyers market. It is also a sad thing thinking of how

many have to leave because they can’t keep their homes for one reason

or another.

 

Back in the old days homes would go for way less than these are selling.

Check this out HERE. The way the economy is going, more and more

will be cheaper and cheaper. I doubt the prices will align with the ones in

that article… but we can dream!!    Ahh it sure is neat to look back in the

GOOD OLD DAYS..
