Neighborhood News…

WELL lets see.. Oh yeah..

HELL HOUSE the saga continues. The hornets nest is still

there and probably will be abandoned in the winter

before anyone comes and does anything. We contacted the

city manager who called the realtor in charge of the sale of

this house. Seems a bank out of state really is in charge of it and

they could CARE LESS. How do we know this?? Well after two

separate calls to the realty office and them both swearing they

never got a call from anyone in this town..we called our

CITY MANAGER and he called them. BINGO he got results!!

YES INDEED..all he got was them telling him that they would pass

the information on to someone else out of state. GOD help us

if anything ELSE goes on over there, because NO ONE CARES

anymore.  The realty office is paying the man to mow so there

will be no more FINES from the city here.. as to anything else well

there is no power or no water over there so who knows. SO many

houses for sale in this town.. at least a thousand at last count by

the city census. The odds of that or any one of them selling is

pretty grim. It is just the way it is here in this state. 

 

This whole thing has the neighborhood buzzing.. (I just had to

say that! ).. Locals have come and stood in our driveway to

look at it. This is what I was afraid of.. some damn kid fooling

around with it.  Shooting at it or something.  .. Beleive me I am

keeping an eye out and if they do come around I am running them off.

The weather was glorious today.. cool and breezy.. very unlike a

July day here in Michigan. I love the break we get every so many

days. Was in the 50’s here and will be today too.

I got more painting done yesterday and worked fast as the sun was

moving it’s way over the house to shine on me. I had to stop

as YES.. I ran out of paint again..   I thought I would have enough

if I was rolling it on to cover the area I wanted to cover.

I really messed up on my calculations because this side

of the house is lots larger than the back. DUH!!

Soooo  who knows when the rest of it will get finished.

My neck aches from looking up. Learned I like painting in the

shade but hate doing it over 8 feet up on the side of a building.

What got finished did look so much better though.  I saw

no hornets except for the ones buzzing around the nest. The muscles

on my arms are looking pretty buff now from working that pole.. hmmm

gives me ideas about why women do that pole dancing stuff.

GAS went up to 3.89 the other price was a super sale

thing.. maybe a gas war I don’t know. The station had to

shut down as they sold out of gas.. well…are we surprised.. nope!
