SATURDAY found me driving Sis up and down the large
street where all the garage sales were going on.
So many people and no place to park. I drive slow and she
jumps out and looks things over. Between watching the people
who are pulling out and walking in front of you.. it was quite
nerve wracking.
SIS had the find of the day with a great deal on a SCHWINN 5 speed for only 20$
I was just amazed.. I had my eye on the lady
who was selling the tomatoes in her garage sale.
2.00 for at least 6 good size ones. Believe it or not this
is the first time we have bought them fresh from a garden this whole
season. 
This
nasty looking cloud showed up and we headed for home
as fast as we could. 
Some people were smart and had things easily covered up or
under coverings… There were way more people selling this
year than last year. The GOODWILL being moved out of town,
some people elected to sell stuff in their yards rather than
donate it. Considering the gas prices and how far you have to go
now to donate, I guess it is a good idea all the way around.

I found Gas selling for 3.75 in the next town down the road from
us, and I found blueberries on sale by the large box for 2.99 These
boxes had been marked at 6.99 and NOBODY bought them.
They were in rough shape but I sorted them and
promptly made me a batch of homemade blueberry muffins! YUM!!
have them for breakfast!!
