GOOD GUESSING!!

MOST ALL OF YOU GOT THE PHOTO GUESS RIGHT!!
It was CAROLE’S photo.. AMAZING!!
You all did a swell job and know what kind of photo
she takes all too well.  Star

Friday was pretty uneventful here in my little
world. Did laundry and cleaned out the fridge
and organized the canned goods. Oh I think that cleaning
bug that Carole caught came over to my house…I locked the
back door but he must have snuck in the front!!  Wink

Gas here this week is $1.84 some towns north of us are even cheaper
at 1.79.
Milk is still high here in town though, (3.79 all kinds), and makes it
really easy for
us to go out of town for supplies when they are sellling it
for 1.99!!!  Kr*&*R is selling it that low and making money on
volume sold. Other stores should take their example and run
with it. FOOD costs so much you have to cut where you can..
it is just good for the consumer, When you go in you always buy
other items. Since when can you get a half gallon of pretty good
ice cream for $1.00 and a loaf of bread for $1.00 or
cheese (which is really high) for $1.88. You can bet I will
be picking up some cheap items along with the milk!!

FRIDAY notes…

Standard
We heard thunder here last night and saw plenty of lightning. Heavy
rain and lots of wind.More is coming soon, in case we had any more lightning. I always unplug everything
here just in case.. especially MIRACLE..Red heart

The clinic where mom goes has many doctors, so it is
not unusual for them to not get back to me for at least
a day. Both the nurse and the doctor that mom has knows
full well that I have been trained and versed in many
drugs and procedures. When she called, the nurse said..
“Sorry it took so long, I know she was in no danger though.”
The drug she was given was just a pre-caution and really
the dr.  think she will be fine without ” I told her we had already
stopped it. She said “I figured you did.”  Come back in two weeks
or if her condition changes.  So that settled that.

Tonight I made chicken Parmigiana something I hadn’t done in ages.
Mom doesn’t really like it that much and now she can’t have the cheese
on it so.. I left hers plain. Brought back a lot of memories
of watching my aunt make it in her kitchen. I learned that everyone has
a different method and most times it comes out just as tasty.
My method is taking a skinless boneless breast and sllicing it in
half. Then I  flatten it out between plastic wrap. I bread it with beaten
egg and parmasan and bread crumbs. I fry it in a skillet, which doesn’t take
long. I drain it on paper towels and then place it in a dish
and cover it with any kind of spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle
mozarella and parmasan cheese and put it under the broiler
until the cheese melts.  YUMMY!!  Tongue out A very fast and tasty main dish.

RAINY WEDNESDAY

Standard

YEP I said RAIN!!! COLD rain! The kind that makes your bones ache… well at least you know the weather has changed. Skies all gloomy, but I look to the bright side and say “I don’t have to shovel it!!” Kinda of a slow day here full of chores and watiting. I waited and called the Dr. office again today about mom’s new medication. WHY OH WHY do they make anti-biotics that really make you sick if you take them? After all these years of progress, they still are pretty strong and still upset the balance of your whole body when you take them. Mom got really sick from this last batch and refuses to even take one more tablet. (Can’t blame her) I called the pharmacy.. well she did everything right.. it might just be something in her system or other meds. Well the Dr. office never called me back.. (sound familiar) tomorrow I will have to go in and see someone there to get some action. #####################################################

QUESTION.. If you had the choice which kind of DOG would you get??
Would it be a mutt.. or a pure-bred–?
Would it come from a nice home, shelter, breeder ?
Reason I asked is this question is, it was asked of me.
The first thing I said was.. “no matter the kind really, I would
always go to a HUMANE SOCIETY or the SPCA. I would look
to place that did not uthanize their animals because no one
came for them.  We, as a family, have always had animals
that are not purebreds..just the ordinary dog and mostly
labs, poodles, shepherds, or a terrier. We have gotten them
from friends, relatives and occasionally a shelter. No matter
the breed..they all have our heart the minute they come into our
lives. I do prefer the smaller breeds though. I have been around
labs and shepherds too, but the smaller dog somehow draws me
toward it.
