Boy what a gloomy rainy day and windy too. Not much going on
here. Saw where some pretty violent stuff was
going on in Ilinois and Indiana though last night. Hope everyone is safe there.

I am not a big horse racing fan..but today is the PREAKNESS.
They could have a history making day there too.
A filly named RACHAEL ALEXANDRA will race among all those
male horses. I saw a clip on the news of her last race
and SHE out ran every horse in it by 20 lengths!! I said 20!!
That’s a lot!! 
The last filly to race in the Preakness was in
1999 and sadly it didn’t finish it. Male horses are stronger
and they are faster they say. It will be interesting to see if
anything comes of this race. I certainly don’t condone putting
the lighter more delicate horses with the males and making
them run hard. Visions of past mistakes with horses down
on the track injured come to mind. The winning jockey from the
Kentucky Derby WILL BE riding this horse too. Good Luck
to him.. The weather may play into this race. It could be
postponed if thunderstorms threaten. If they get what we had last night
well they were pretty strong. Wish them all Luck.
