Wrote a note to MOM –It is Tuesday and YES WE GET MAIL!
Yesterday she looked for the mailman most of the day.
I kept re-telling her it was a holiday. The race was on at
12 noon, because it was rained out, so it seemed like a SUNDAY. HER SOAPS were
on so it seemed like a MONDAY. Very confusing. She was
having a bad day. The street was busy with people.. "well Mom, they
are walking downtown to the PARADE we have every Memorial
day." A very short one, but none the less a parade. She couldn’t hear
the band anymore, or the plane that drops the wreath in the river.
It was a work day. Changing sheets and doing laundry and watching
her soaps sure didn’t make it feel like a holiday.
The race went on, then stopped and then rained out. The longest
race of the year 600 miles and they stopped it at 227 laps. OH WELL.
maybe next year. It was MONDAY.. the news was on
but 24 wasn’t because the season is over. BONES and HOUSE
came on but WAIT didn’t they used to come on TUESDAY’S????
"They used to Mom!"
Very confusing for a person who relies on a schedule.
All I know is TODAY IS TUESDAY and it is raining some and damp
and more is coming. My sinus is telling me.."Run your errands NOW
before I start pounding harder". I wonder when the meds will kick
in??? IT IS TUESDAY and that means that the week will go much
faster for a lot of us.
