THIS AND THAT

 

 

 

When I was editing photos  I ran across this one.. KINDA looks like the

head of a pig, or bear or some other animal. Boy that storm was a pretty

good one and the cloud formations were awesome. Leave it to me to be

looking for something in the clouds…

Ever since the changeover to digital we have had trouble here

with our cable. Stations blacking out, getting all pixelated,

pictures freezing up for long periods of time. It’s crazy. We never

had trouble before the switch. Calling the company or whatever does

really no good at all. You never have time to sit on the phone and wait

for them to get to you “next”.  

One station was out for 3 days!!!  We don’t receive many

stations, but the ones we have I sure hope they fix!!

ANYONE ELSE HAVING TROUBLES SINCE THE CHANGEOVER????

I saw on the news where BILLY MAYS died.(OXYCLEAN) He was the best pitchman

I think I ever saw. I am so glad that he was so successful at it. His family

will be taken care of hopefully because of his wonderful work for

all those products. 

He died from complications due to heart disease according

to autopsy reports from the coroner. So tragic for one so young.

He was only 50 years old.

Monday was nice and breezy and cooler. FIrst day in a long time

the doors and windows were open and the A/C off!! I am loving it!!

I thought that a space I made here at MSN SPACES was private..

well most of it was. EVERY single picture I had there in albums

could be seen by just anyone. I was shocked!!! I thought private

mean just that. NOT SO!!! WATCH IT when placing photos on

or inside your entries if you have a private space. Despite changing your

profiles etc you still will have your pictures there for the public to

view and UN-SIGNED IN TOO!!!  I have several notes into MSN will

let you hear if I do!

MONDAY BLAHS

VERY TIRED…LONG WEEKEND..

ENOUGH SAID..

Windy day here yesterday and boy it liked to have

beat down my tomato plants. I had to scramble to

find something to prop them up with. When I

came outside at lunch time they were

all OVER the GROUND. Up until this time they

were all standing up or tied up. When to stop

feeding them that M-gro stuff I dont know but

the one is really out growing it’s pot extremely!

Sis says I should have just planted it in the

ground but I think if I had it would have not

done half as well.  Looks like they are going to

all ripen at the same time. WOW! This is just ONE tomato plant!!

It has tripled in size with all the hot hot weather we have had.

Keeping it off the ground has sure been a challenge. I was ill-

prepared for the need for the very tall tall stakes. Need to

buy or find some more soon. I have it propped up with

everything I could find.

 

You can see HELL HOUSE in the background there. NO they haven’t

done anything about those weeds at all. I think the house has been

posted though by the city and if nothing is done soon the city will

come and do it and charge "whoever" owns the property now.

I hope it is this week!

 

Nice today here cooler and  I  am liking it!!  Sunny and nice

we needed a little break. They say it may even be dry  for

July 4th. Not holding my breath on that one!

CHORES AND MORE

Saturday was a shopping day and a chore day. The rain is

coming and the cooler weather so I had to get the lawn mowed,

the weeds whacked and some of the mess from that nasty QUINCE

bush gathered . I laid them out days ago in the sun to wilt and

that’s exactly what they did. The leaves gone almost and they

were much easier to deal with. The pile is bigger than I thought

it was though. The neighbor asked me if I was going to have a

bon fire! I told her if she wanted to burn then she could.. she laughed

and declined. She know about the THORNS!  DARN!!

Went shopping at the Wmrt store and looked for some

of that new product The OFF CLIP ON device. It repels

mosquitos, or so they say. My SIS used it on her belt while

mowing her yard. She said it didn’t work all that well.

I guess you have to be sitting still, not moving much.

If you are on a bike or mower or hiking-walking I don’t know if

it will do you that much good. . The store was completely

out of refills for the units. The clerk said he didn’t know when

he would get more. They had a whole display of at least

50 of them. They come with one refill besides the one that

is inside. Sis said if she went camping she would definitely

use one if she were in a tent.

 

Got some great cantalope

for 2 $ each.. They marked up my Tea that I buy there

by almost 25 cents. I was shocked... I swear they are

trying to mark things up about once a month .. maybe more.

I stocked up on all the older priced ones and they had

to give it to me for the price on the can! They rang up to the

new price. It was very confusing to the clerk..but not to me

Save where you can! When we got home I got to watch the

Nationwide Nascar race. The driver I like was not in the race

but it was nice to see one once again.

Last Sunday I watched an ABC movie called IMPACT..

talk about wild. An asteroid or some such thing collided

with the MOON. It imbedded itself inside the moon which

caused it to change it’s rotation around the earth. Since it

did that the magnetism or gravity of earth changed and

people and object began to float in the air. Okaaaayyyyy

In each pass or rotation of the moon it got stronger and

stronger. WE LOST ALL communication and electrical

things were severely compromised. The second part of this

movie is on Sunday night at 9 PM. What happens to EARTH

when the moon adjusted like that is something I never

ever thought of.  The reason I mention this is because we are

such a nation that is so dependent now on everything

electrical that if something catastrophic happened we

would be stuck. Back to the olden days of snail mail

and telegrams and ham radio operators I guess.

Scary thought! This nation should speed up it’s

technology in the wind turbine arena and make it

part of our everyday lifestyles.
