WHO ARE YOU??

WHO ARE YOU??
That is the latest phrase around here. Not from MOM but from
me! So many therapists and nurses calling and making appointments
that you have no idea who is coming next. I simply requested
they send the same ones each week so that we won’t get so
confused. SO far only one is the same, the rest are alternated
and we have seen at least 8 different people here at home.
That alone is enough to really make any 83 year old with some
dementia issues mind spin.
I know they are busy and I know they can not always make
their schedules because of OUR schedule.. but sheesh..
give us a break! Sounds like a good  rant ehh??.. well it really is just
frustrating.

It’s sunny here and cold this morning.. we did have some
frost in some areas too. I am glad it is just spring weather
cool and then warmer in the daytime. Just have to get used
to dressing and wearing different coats now too.
GAS went crazy here .. 2.89 in our town and 2.79 in the
next town over. This keeps up we will see very high prices
this summer too.  Visited Wa@#$$T yesterday and noticed
that their fruit prices are still kinda high here. Mom wanted
grapes but at nearly 2.00 a lb we left them in the store. 
Haven’t been shopping too many places lately.. sticking to
the routine and making sure we use up what we can so
that the winter stock gets used and not out of date.

I have been so busy here I had to look to see what

day it was on my clock here on the computer.

Days have been filled with appointments and

therapy and visiting nurses. WHATEVER made me

think that things could calm down when Mom

got home??

Yesterday on the way to pick up Mom from treatment

we saw a large group of wild turkey’s. Several males

were really STRUTTING their stuff. I tried to take the

picture, but going 70 blurred the heck out of it.

Cindy is right.. this is the time of year that all the wildlife

is really active. It has been a long hard winter on many of

them here. Weathermen state that by this time next week

we will be looking at high 60′s and near 70!! That is going

to help a lot with all that nesting work.

Speaking of work.. the therapist who came by and will

again today tell mom that with another week or so

she will again be “cut loose” from them and on her

own. Able to deal with her walker and do a whole

lot on her own. The only reason they are saying it is

because we got her the kind that has the SEAT in it.

Walk awhile and SIT!!  She actually likes it! Looking forward

to having it outside so she can sit in the sun and still

be able to get around. Great invention!! Yesterday we

took her into Meijers for her first trip to a store in

about 6 months! WOW talk about a shock.. she had

NO IDEA that prices were so high now. They did have

some nice specials so we were lucky to take advantage

to those. . WELL not much more from here..
