FRIDAY’S FENCES

Standard

DSCN8644

This doesn’t look like a fence but it is.. It ran all the way around the house. I was amazed at what time it must have taken to make it. At first I thought it was just a patio type thing. This was taken out the car window as I drove by. On the return trip I could see that it went around the whole house. Just in front of the barn area is another fence that is placed to block off any entrance back to the barn. Pretty elaborate I must say. Made me wonder just what was inside the barn.

This  fence is well-worn and looked like it had never had paint. I was intrigued by the latch on it. Loved the shapes too.  For more Friday’s  Fences check HERE..

This week for FRIDAY FENCES  I am posting  photos I took in 2011. While out for a walk I came across this scene. It inspired me right away. I went home, got my camera, and came back and took the pictures.

This fence is near Ludington Mi. The tree is an Oak..it is really old and large.  Some of you may have seen this fence before. I couldn’t remember if it was posted here or at my Facebook page. I loved the pickets and the swing.

HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!

BARN CHARM TUESDAY

This is a barn in Northern Michigan. Not sure what the barn holds but I was interested in it because of the roof and cupolas. It was very large and very well managed. The farm itself was just as spacious. I would think this family was in the farming business for a long time.

If you like looking at Barns...here is a spot you can check out a lot of them. Click the link and enjoy!!
