Monthly Archives: September 2005

Well I am sorta doing this these days with this sale I am doing and all the other stuff going on here..I feel for this little guy a lot.
Hope you all have a great weekend planned..the weather in Michigan should be perfect they say…The annual football match up between Uof M and Michigan State will be this weekend and it will be something to behold in this autumn weather. Warm days and cool nights are just what any person could ask for.
Have a great weekend!!!!!

WEll the same team lost this week as last week and the team voted off the weakest person 21 year old Brianna unanimously and kept all the stronger ones. In 114 degreee heat the immunity challenge was new and very taxing on the players. Unlike in years past where the contestants could go for a swim and relax and cool themselves off, this year with the threat of crocodiles all around them all they can try to do is take pots of water and pour it over them. A few members bravely jumped in the water briefly with others watching out for them.  It seems that this year’s series is really a challenge for the weak to survive it .  Brianna is wearing the green swimsuit in the middle of the picture. That leaves only three women left on this team. Hmmmm  I wonder if the gals will all get kicked off first?? They seem to be healthier than the men all the way around. Next week a croc visits one of the camps….oh that should be just wonderful to watch………….. I, for one, am not really too   enthusiastic this year……..    photo courtesy of

WHAT A CROC!!!!!!!!!!

I really don’t know if all this is true or not but here is what I
got from the latest e-mail trail………This crocodile was found in New Orleans swimming down the street. 21 FT long, 4,500 lbs, around 80
years old minimum.

Specialists said that he was looking to eat humans because he was too old to
catch animals. This
crocodile was killed by the army last Sunday at 3:00 pm, currently he is in
the freezer at the Azur hotel. The contents of it’s stomach will be analyzed
this Friday at 2:30pm.

  P. S.  It was all a hoax!!!! I GIVE UP!!
Comments:  The pictures are real, but the caption is false. These photos were not taken in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. They were taken in 2003 and document the capture of a 16-foot crocodile in Pointe-Noire, Republic of the Congo. The incident was covered in the July 17, 2003 edition of La Semaine Africaine.
How in the world do these things get started anyway????

I watched all last season and even saw some of the reruns
this summer but I must admit this show got a little more crazy
with the latest episode..So I gather this guy has been underground all these years and thought the world came to an end???
He entered those very bad numbers as a code in his very very
old computer..Has he lost his mind being alone all those years?
He was shocked that a plane crashed and there were others so
he must not have heard it crash or have been above ground in years….that thing he was in was sealed and he thought the others were sick..Now the two on the raft survived and made it ashore to find the other guy that was with them there and being chased by some "others"..OH MY this show just got weirder…is it their island they landed on or another one???
I hope new comers who watch this show don’t get discouraged by the twists and turns…. we all seem to be in the same predicament here….we are so……… L O S T ….give it time maybe it will all be answered for us or they will keep us guessing trying to figure it all out!!!

Well I been searching out some neat spaces for you all this week
on my space walks… here is one I think you will like…its called..
Greeneyedcat…yep..that’s the name…you can find it here…  she is a space friend from Toronto Canada.. got some interesting things to say
on her space.. she has a neat excercise there for history of your blog…
1. Delve into your blog archive.

2. Find your 23rd post.

3. Find the fifth sentence.

4. Post the text of the sentence in your blog along with these instructions.

So here is mine……

Please use some common sense and dont drink and drive and DONT talk and drive !!!!

It wasn’t easy either took a lot of counting and searching..I guess I was on a rant that day about cell phones!!!

That was fun though you never know what you were talking about until you look it up…check out the greeneyedcat!!!!

They look kinda yellow to me though!!!   Enjoy your day!!!

ONE of those days!!!

Yep..I am having one! I tried for nearly an hour just to get to the sign in for MSN to get to my space…Grrrrrr and then after I signed in.. it clicked me off and I am back to square one! Grrr anyway I am here now and am going to try to salvage some of the time wasted.
Thank GOD for image shack being as fast as it is so I can get this
done so quickly….I recieved an e-mail from one of my friends and it was pictures that were taken by a guy in Alabama when Katrina was making it’s way into Mississippi… maybe you have seen these already but they are awesome. If that were me taking the pictures I would not have been able to keep the camera steady. The power of the storm itself must have been mind blowing. It looks like a nuclear explosion in the sky. Like  the largest tornado you could ever imagine. Now there is no name to go with these photos that I know of so I hope I don’t get into trouble…but this one and others are making their way across the web. If anyone knows who took them they better tell the guy he is pretty famous now.. You all have a great day!!!

Is it Monday????

I feel exhausted after this weekend for some reason…maybe its the constant thinking and praying for everyone in the south or the worry over trying to do too much too fast. I have so much to do in a short time to get really ready for this estate  sale I am having. This time I advertised it widely so we will see what happens. I have decided to sell everything I can while I still have the energy to do it.. This means I have to move furniture and all the stuff I had dreaded moving by myself. I have a two story house and moving things down a steep 13 step stairway is really pretty scary. It makes one want to stay in bed and worry about it later. This town is not a rich town and me moving all that stuff to be sold makes me wonder if I can really get anything for it…all that work and not sell it  depresses me.
I decided what  is left to give to those who need it desperately so the SALVATION  ARMY will surely get it with my blessings.
I realize some people are worried over their next meals and where they will sleep tonight, but I must move on with LIFE. I had this thing after 9/11 too.. I guess it has a name but darn if I know what it is. The people of the south will have it for months maybe years to come and I pray they will be able to come back even stronger.
It cheers me to visit the spaces and find out how people are doing today… but now it’s time to get back to work…at least the sun is shining here again after a cold and rainy weekend, and that makes it easier to get throught the  day.. Hope yours is a good one!!!!
