Today is Daytona day. We ususally have a lot of neat food and
enjoy the day completely. It’s the biggest nascar race of the year.
I find it strange that it is at the beginning of the season, but that is
just the way they set it up. Most sports have their final event at
the end of the season. The winner of the Daytona has to give up
his car to be on display for a whole year! Bummer. That would be the
car I would want in all the races to come, I am sure they do too.
I am hoping for a big day for my favorite Tony Stewart. He just
started up his own company and has had some unfortunate
problems in the days before the race. Keeing my fingers crossed
for him.. GO TONY!!  Auto
Anyway with mom sick this year we have a really toned down
day. She had a litte setback yesterday. She was very tired and
didnt want to eat and that was pretty typical of a person fighting
off an illness. She tends to overdo and then pay later on.
She rested well ovenight and continues to try to keep a positive attitude
and that important. Making a big pot of soup today and hoping for a good day.
Here is the sun coming up over the snow covered roof tops
this morning..YES indeed I would rather be in Florida with the
warmth and balmy breezes.  Island with a palm tree
