RELAX… IT’S THE WEEEKEND

Standard

glitter-graphics.com

The weekend schedule is always different around here. Some we are really
busy and some we are bored to pieces. Some are completely a working
weekend and others are just for fun.  Some I get to watch a Nascar race
and some I don’t. Some I get to sleep in on those days and others NOT.
Mom being sick has changed the whole feeling of the weekend now.
We have a whole new "routine" to get used to. It sure is hard changing.
I got to thinking that even if the routine changes you can still MAKE
time to RELAX somehow. A simple thing like taking a walk or
reading a book could be a new change. I am going to try it and see
how it goes.  I hope I find something that works. Smile Hope yours is
relaxing also.

The Dr. Office called today and told us they scheduled an appointment for Mom
with a Cardiologist in another town. PROBLEM IS.. the Dr. didn’t inform us
they were going to do that.Baring teeth They wanted an 82 year old sick person to be in
the office at 8:10 in the morning, that’s after driving at least 30 minutes to get
there. I was shocked.Surprised I informed them that HAD WE KNOWN  we could have told
them that she doesn’t even GET UP before that hour and IN NO WAY could we
get there. I told the lady that I could have saved them a lot of trouble if they
had ONLY ASKED US about it. She had to call back the office and reschedule
the appt for a later one. This made our wait to see the new dr. at least
2 weeks LONGER..  Boy.. talk about confusing. WISH they would get their
act together. Confused

Well not much more to report from this little corner of the county.

HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT SATURDAY!!

  1. I’m sorry about the difficulties my friend and can sympathize. It’s a whole new ball of wax dealing with things in that situation for sure. I’m so ready for summer to roll along where the days are longer and it’s warmer and a usually easier schedule for us…the next two months seem like two or three decades somehow. I hope things work out well for you and in the middle of it all you have a great weekend!

  2. Relax Honey, you’re doing great. Good catch on the dr.appt., sometimes they don’t think things through. BTW love your background!

  3. I am so sorry you had to worry with changing the doctor appt. They just don’t think when they are making those appts. I have never had any of my doctors make an appt for me without checking first. It would really aggravate me if they did.Hugs to you and mom.

  4. Like Beth Marie my doctors office always calls if they need to change and or make and appt. Sorry you had to go through that. Hope you can take time to relax this weekend. Hugs

  5. It can be frustrating with appointments and I am glad you were able to have it changed. This will give you extra time to see how the new med works, though, and your mother reacts to it, which may be helpful to the specialist, as he checks everything. Wishing you relaxing moments and change of pace.

  6. I sure hope you have a relaxing weekend my friend. Roll with the punches I always say. It snowed here and it’scold and ice on top of it all. I relaxed today compared to my normal. Take care!!

  7. Pretty gutsy of them to just make that appointment without your knowledge! I’m glad they don’t do that here. They just give us the go ahead to call and make our own appointment, according to our schedules. Hope your weekend can be relaxing and fun and especially stress-free!! Wow, what an idea…
