MONDAY AGAIN!!

Standard
Saw this sign and thought of the flowers I saw over
the weekend at the flea market. TALL HOLLYHOCKS
I believe…
HIGHER than my head that is for sure. These used to
be in yards all over our neighborhood years ago.
NO one around here grows them much anymore. They
are beautiful to see though.
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
Monday will come in here nice and warm and sunny. We are loving it
but know that rain would be very welcomed right now. Everything is
pretty dry. Gas prices stayed at 2.69 the whole weekend but we managed
to find it for 2.59 too. So much better than last year when it was over 3.00
a gallon.
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
Back to the daily grind of laundry and chores today. City council meets tonight and the
fate of our city-wide clean up problem is on the agenda. Hope they have decided
where and when we can get rid of all our trash and junk. Mine is collected
in large bags in my basement and garage long enough. Time to get rid of the
clutter.
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT   M O N D A Y !!!    Wink

  1. Wow, you’re really on the ball! I’m up late…fifteen after midnight and you’ve already posted! I figure if you can do that you can certainly find a way to clear out the stuff that needs to go! We had a couple of storms pass by and I thought it would cool down but it’s fairly warm now…I’m thinking it will be a hot one tomorrow…no complaints here. Have a great week my friend.

  2. Hey Sis…hollyhocks bring back good memores for me,. I think I already told you about that so I won’t start in again.Gas was $2.46 for us here. Some laces it goes to $2.55 though. Gues swhere *I* go? It’s ain’t where it’s $2.55. Did you see my hot and steamy post from yesterday?Gonna go get my hair done today. Layering and roots. 🙂 Like that show on OBS,,have to be "Keeping Up Apperances" 🙂

  3. I love hollyhocks. Those were our dolls when I was a kid. If I could ever find some seeds I would grow some again down by the fence behind my garage. Among my childhood memories.Gas has been the same price here for the last week. Hugs for you and mom.

  4. At least you can look forward to rain…we don’t expect to see any drops until October sometime. S made it home but forgot a stack of papers he was studying and left on our kitchen table! So, it’s off to the mailbox today! Looks like our calendar is FULL this week, so little time left to blog, for sure. Enjoy your low gas prices—ours are still hovering around $3. Have a great Monday and don’t forget to visit me tomorrow…

  8. Most men don’t have favorite flowers, but I call Jim a Hollyhock-aholic. He used to walk by a house that had a huge beautiful patch of them and he’s been hooked on them ever since. They come back every year and they are really pretty. Gas here is $2.49! Couldn’t believe it.
