CAN’T believe that it has been TEN years since 08/08/08
already. Time sure flies when you are not looking.
That date will never come again in our lifetimes.
 #####################################################
Spent most of the day dodging the idea of mowing that
hay field in my side yard. I finally got it finished despite the dang
MOLES who have really made my life miserable. I have used
so many things on them and nothing seems to work yet.
ALMOST desperate enough to try that small cheap transistor
radio down one of the holes!! Maybe on my next trip out of
town I will look for one anyway. Dollar stores usually have some
cheap ones. I hear once the noise gets so bad they will leave
and never come back. YEAH RIGHT! Sarcastic
 ######################################################
Nine ELEVEN is coming on Friday and I still am disgusted that
the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA cannot PUT some kind of a
memorial on those hallowed grounds. WHAT the heck are they
waiting for? Each year families go there and NOTHING is done.
Plans are made and such and no buildings are placed there
as a memorial. Just plain disappointing!
 ######################################################
The weather was great here on Wednesday, I got out a little and
saw that gas went back up to 2.54 in most stations in town.
There were plenty of people buying it though, you would never
know there was any increase. MORE people looking at HELL HOUSE
and the shocked looks on their faces just priceless. One lady
commented that the ceiling had completely collapsed and
many of the walls covered with BLACK MOLD!
Now tell me….. is it legal to try to sell that place or rent it
in THAT condition? I THINK NOT!!! Only thing it is good for
is to TEAR DOWN!!! Hope that is what happens too.

Here is a picture one I took several days back.

Funny seeing so many birds in there with so little water. They sure
had a great time though! Oh for a better zoom.. one of these days! Wink
Well not much more from here….

HOPE YOU  ALL  HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

  1. I have heard about homes being sold by banks as is…mold an all! Jist not right!I best get gas in the am. It’s 2.35 here. Have a great day tomorrow!

  2. I wish they would tear that house down., It can’t be healthy even living next door to it. The birds look like they are having great fun.HUG!!!

  3. That is just awful that they are trying to sell that place like that. We have on in our area but the local authorities have put a condemned sign on it and scheduled it for demolition. They need to do that with "Hell House". Gas here was 2.49 yesterday and I couldn’t get in to get any. Going up in a minute to try again and hope it hasn’t gone up again.

  4. Gee, I thought 8-08-08 was just last year—and 10/10/10 will be next year! I guess condition doesn’t matter when it comes to property–but the value DOES go down! I think they just want to unload it as soon as possible because it costs them money to have to deal with it other wise. Today is a work day….

  5. Interesting about your neighbor (hell house). It will take a h– of a lot of money to buy and then rehab or whatever they decide to do. Love the photo; birds love taking a bath.

  6. Not all black mold is toxic and most can be treated effectively with a solution of Clorox. However, in this house all of the sheet rock will have to be torn out, the wood frame treated and dried and then new sheet rock hung. It’ll be quite expensive and one couldn’t live there until after all that was done… this is a flipp that one couldn’t do while living there.Love the photo of the bird bath… I would love to have one down here but it’s just a breeding groune for mosquitos… we don’t really need those…

  7. I don’t know why they don’t tear it down. It would probably be cheapr in the long run. In the mean time they are paying taxes on it etc etc. and losing money. I’d be interested in knowing if the music chases the moles out. I’d never heard that before.Have a good day

  8. I’m sure someone else probably commented about 08/08/08 not being 10 years ago…it may explain why it seems like time flew by so quickly. But I’m not denying that time really does fly, even if we’re not having fun.Love the picture of the crowded birdbath. It’s fun watching them splash and dip and splash again. Good luck getting rid of the moles. I never heard of he radio thing, sure hope it works.
