You know I know they are useful but they sure
make me crazy. WHY OH WHY don’t they
put a ziploc on bags that come with BREAD?
I mean everytime I take one of those twists
off I lose it. Scramble around looking for it
and then some of the time the loaf is not all
the way closed and the bread dries out.
Drives me NUTS.. they can put everything else
in a Zip bag but bread. WHY?Thinking
Eye-rolling     Eye-rolling     Eye-rolling     Eye-rolling     Eye-rolling     Eye-rolling     Eye-rolling
do some drivers come out into the dang cross
road before you can hardly get your car
through the intersection? Yesterday a man nearly
hit my car because he started to move before
I was through it. I laid on the horn. He gave me the
darn universal  finger sign and I kept on going. Baring teeth
Are people in such a hurry that they can’t wait until
you are gone before they move? Who knows but it
makes me crazy.
Thinking     Thinking     Thinking     Thinking      Thinking     Thinking     Thinking
so some people take a bath in cologne or perfume?
Isn’t soap and deodorant enough for them? I nearly passed
out in the store as the woman in front of me was literally
drenched in some sort of strong cologne. I know I am senstitve
to the smells because of my asthma, and  I feel for those who are
allergic and get into those situations. WHEW!Thinking Tone it down

Well those are my rants this week. Just some things that make me
a little annoyed!  I sound like a broken record but the weather
is wonderful and if not for some inside work I have been doing
I would be right out there in the garage getting it ready for
winter. I still have lots to do. Bought a bag of gala apples for
1,99 I sure hope they ripen up some more. Tried one out and
was shocked at how hard they were. Stores here have a lot
of the local fruit on sale. Peaches, apples and grapes all
were 99 a lb last week if you go to the big city.
NO ONE buys here in town if they don’t have to. It is so
high priced. Our gas here was 2.50 today.. expect it to rise
for the crowds that are arriving this weekend. Think I will
buy mine out of town! Wink

  1. Love your rants. The all are so true. Hubby takes the twist tie off, twirls the bread and tucks the end under after he gets a slice. He doesn’t like them either, can you tell, lol. Have a good day.

  2. Well covered my friend. Bad enough when someone is rude…worse when they seem to blame you for their own stupidity…gotta love it….or not. The weather has been great here too but I know that it’s not going to last forever…this is unseasonably warm they say so I know the real weather we’re supposed to have is out there. Have a great day!

  3. Papa and I use a cloths pin on the bread bag. It works great. We also lose the twistie things and it made us crazy and one day he got fed up and used one of the cloths pins I use for the chips bags… worked like a charm.Happy Wed!

  4. Good rants! I agree with them all, but especially the one about too much perfume smell. What I wonder is why the shampoo people can’t get in touch with the soap people and make products for your hair (shampoo, conditioner, hair gel, hair spray) that match scent with the soap products (bar soap, liquid all-body soap)? I love the scent of my shampoo, but by the time I finish cleansing with another soap and using another conditioner, I smell like a combination of stuff.

  5. I wish I had thought to tell you that Sis. What Fizz said… because I have used a clothespin forever!!! No silly 3 dollar clips to buy for something a clothespin or even a paperclip can do you for. 🙂

  6. @Carole and Fizz. yep I have used a clothespin too recently. Mom’s eyes are not what they used to be and we sometimes lose the pin too. I bought plastic ones with COLOR and so she can find them easier. @Sue Great idea. I wonder if anyone has really thought of how combinations of products really mess with each other? @Nancy YES sometimes I do jot down things so I can remember what it is I wanted to blog about or complain about.Sometimes the days get long and this old brain gets a little bit lost. LOL

  7. Never thought of using a clothes pin, I don’t have anyway. The driver was rude, one of the reasons I don’t drive any more. My wife hags the little wire ties on a small basket in the window. Have a good day.
