Well my time at home lasted only 1/2 a day. The sun came out
and warmed things up after a whole lot of morning fog. Inside the
car the heater ran for the first time this fall.  It felt pretty good.
We made our way to
the bigger city. A great sale on just what we were looking for was too
hard to resist. I think I maybe I have mentioned that I got
mom some shoes with VELCRO fasteners across the tops. SO nice
for an elderly person to use. These shoes were BUY a pair
get a pair FREE. You bet we went to see if they had her size!
We saved over $40! What a deal!!
S***RS was having a great sale! I ended up getting her two pair.Smile
We stoppd by the K**GR store and got some items on sale. This sticker
was on a car there. I had to chuckle.. the guy must be a real nascar
Inside this realistic witch scared the BEEJEEEZ out of a little
3-4 year old girl coming down the aisle. I don’ think the management
figured on that, but she let out a scream that would have scared any
parent to pieces. It was followed by many sobs and tears. The mother
got the kid out of there fast. She was life size and motorized
to move when you come near her. Scary for a kid you bet!
On the way home the country-side was brilliant
with color. One week had made a lot of difference.
With a hard frost on for overnight. I can just imagine what
this will look like next week.

  1. Woa, that is a creepy witch! They get more and more stuff out like that every year it seems. I sure love that picture of that road and the fall colors. Our leaves are dying on the branch in the brutal cold and snow now so I guess we won’t be seeing a change this year 😦 Well, have a great Sunday my friend.

  2. That witch IS pretty realistic looking—it’d probably even make me jump! Yeah, your colors are changing fast. We still have a lot of green out here with patches of yellows. No frost yet, but close at times. Expecting rain this week! Oh, goody. Hope I don’t have to be on the road much during it. Enjoy the autumn colors, smells and brisk air!

  3. That was a bit irresponsible if unthinking of them as there are kids from infants up in there and they don’t understand.I am as glad for you guys getting those shoes, 2 for 1 as if I had the same bargain price myself. I ought to look at the flyers in today’s paper!! Those leaves you showed us are super duper outstandingly beautiful, Sis.

  4. Ya know… that kid’ll have night mares for a week! Poor thing… that was scary… I wonder if the mother complained to management? She should have, they need to put these things so that the wee ones don’t get snuck up on like that….Love the last photo… wonderful beautiful! I wanna live on that road….
