COUGH COUGH COUGH

Standard
That is pretty much what is going on here..with an
occasional sneeze thrown in for good measure.
Anyone who has had Bronchitis knows the drill.

You cough so much you are sore and
without antibiotics you don’t  get much
up. I used up two boxes of kleenex and
I am still hacking and blowing. It takes what
seems like forever to get over it. You are so
weak all you want to do is sleep… but OH NO
you can’t. When you lay down something
triggers that coughing tickle and WHAM you
start the coughing all over again. Yesterday
we had some powerful storms go through here.
We are lucky to have electricity today. The air
was heavy with humidity and to me, being sick,
well to my surprise it felt pretty good. Breathing
that moist warm air was like being in a room with
a vaporizer.Light bulb I sat in my glassed in porch and breathed
easy  for a few minutes.
Maybe there is one good thing to having a sick spell in the
summertime afterall,at least you don’t have to deal with
the cold weather too. Smile

HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

  2. Carol, I hope you get to feeling better soon! So nice that you have a glassed in back porch to enjoy and make you feel better! Here, I have a back deck that does nothing but attract wasps! I would love to be able to have it torn down and a nice outdoor roombuilt, complete with wicker funiture and nice indoor/outdoor carpet, screened in windows to let the breeze in, but not the bugs! Oh well, I can dream! Hope your mom doesn’t get sick also! Your friend always, Lisa.

  3. What a time to have a cold!!! Hope you can shake this soon and NOT give it to your Mom. I’ll bet that warm sun feels good when you’re sick like that. Say, are they letting us leave longer comments here???
