Local Views

THE local views around here fascinate me as I have not lived in a community near the water before. I love the ocean or any lake view but just had never had the chance to stay there for any length of time.  Locals are mostly fishermen this time of year. The tourists have left for the season and many fine motels and hotels just close up for the winter.

Fall is truly beautiful around these parts. You don’t have to go far to see it.

I was a caregiver for the elderly on and off for over 30 years.I am now retired and enjoying a new life. I love blogging and have kept a personal journal for 40 years. I enjoy the freedom of being creative and interacting with the millions of other bloggers in the world.I love learning the new things that the computer world has to offer. I have made friends that will last a lifetime blogging, something I never ever thought would happen. I hope you enjoy my blog, and will continue to visit me in the future.

  1. What a beautiful place to see & or live by. Every day you wake up and see the beautiful scenery! I think a lot of us would love to do that if only I could afford to…. lol. Anywhere be water is not cheap… at least where I’m from. We only have a lake with houses way above what I could afford…..lol. But, I do have a bass boat and try to get out to the lake as much as I could. So peaceful and anywhere you look, it is the beauty of nature. At least I can enjoy this while I can, meaning at my age it’s getting a little harder to launch my boat by myself… and will continue until I can’t any more. I hear what you are saying and know what you must be feeling, but a little drive, get out and look around, let nature show you her beauty!
    PS…. I’m over 60..lol.

  2. Wow, your colors are much more vibrant that ours but we still have a week or two before we hit peak color. These are GREAT!

Hoping our rain moves out quickly and we don’t get too much wind out of the storms moving in. It would be just my luck to have all the leaves stripped from the trees just as they’re reaching peak color.
