BARN CHARM TUESDAY

Standard

This barn and set of buildings impressed me as you could see them from far down the road. I loved the blue silo. Taken on the road going up into northern Michigan this past weekend.

This photo is not so clear but the roof line was a little unusual to me. I saw so many barns with the metal roofs on the road to northern Michigan. In lower Michigan they usually are more the shingle type. Metal helps melt the snow in the wintertime I guess. It just slides right off!!

  1. Love those barns! Most of the barns around here need more help than the owners can afford, so you don’t see many in great condition. I think the barns back east are much larger than the ones out here.

  2. Looks like some great barn finds, esp the 1st one… I’m hoping it’s still being used!

LOVE your blog background photo, so beautiful!

    Thank you for joining =)
